Welcome to the Doherty Family Website. I have tried to create a home for my archive of family photographs, video (including some 8mm cine) and slideshows. It is a work in progress and I think it always will be. I have a large amount of photographic material gathered from my early days aged about 12 with my first still camera and a standard 8 cine camera to the digital albums with my family some forty odd years later.

It will take some considerable time to scan (and repair in most cases) the 35mm slide archive as well as the prints taken in later years but I believe it may be worth the wait. If you have any specific occasion or photographic item you would like to see appear next, just drop me a line and I will do what I can to oblige

The archive pages sit behind a log-in and password. Please contact Tony to obtain a log-in which will enable you to browse the photographic and video files.

Enjoy!

My website hasn't been updated for quite some time as the authoring software I use had become a little cumbersome and the site physically too large for it to handle.

I will be re-building a slimmer site in the near future - Please let me know if there is any particular aspect of the site you would like me to retain in the new build.

There was a lovely family gathering on 4th August in Macclesfield to celebrate Aunty Norma's 80th Birthday.

The sunshine came out just as soon as the family got together in the garden at Julie & Dave's home and remained throughout the day.

A wonderful day for a wonderful lady.

The GMDF (Greater Manchester Drama Foundation) awards for the 2016-2017 season were held at the Last Drop Hotel near Bolton on Saturday 8th July 2017.

The Rossendale Players were exceptionally well represented this year with a total of TEN nominations for productions throughout the season.

Tony attended this years' ceremony along with many of the Rossendale Players membership. It was a great night out and the Players lifted a fantastic total of FIVE winners awards!

Congratulations to nominees and winners alike!
